I’m Arthur, a frenchie born at the start of the 2000s, my youth brought me around the world, and now I keep shoving myself around the globe from time to time, I work on boats, so it makes it easier! As you might have seen, both from force of context and passion, a lot of my photographs are focused on nature and more precisely the sea. Unsurprisingly, when you grow up on boats, on beaches and on surfboards, you end up liking the oceans. Now I can’t see myself living anywhere far from salt water, or maybe a (very) big lake.
Those sceneries are also a big source of inspirations, and in my opinion, incredible environment for photography. The weather is more changing, the tides shape the horizon, and everyday the conditions shape a different light to compose with. Maybe one day photography will become a part of my career, however, like sailing, it will remain first and foremost a passion and my favourite way to give life to my artistic vision and creativity.
I bring around a Fujifilm X-S20, with a sigma 16-300mm, not the sharpest on the extreme of its focal lengths but it gives me so much freedom (and it doesnt break the bank). With that comes a Fujifilm XF 33mm, and on lightweight adventures I have a Panasonic LX100ii in the pocket, impressive little thing!
